Role: Staff CAD Designer
Location: London, UK

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled CAD Designer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking technical consultancy supporting the global energy sector. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-quality 3D models and technical drawings for subsea structures and pipelines using Autodesk CAD and Inventor.
Ensure all design deliverables adhere to internal company standards and industry best practices.
Create and maintain detailed project documentation to support engineering and fabrication.
Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to refine technical requirements.
Identify and proactively resolve design challenges throughout the drawing development process.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and project specifications.
Implement design revisions based on project feedback and stakeholder input.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the design function.
Qualifications & Experience
Strong proficiency in Autodesk CAD and Inventor for 3D modelling and technical drawing creation.
Experience in designing subsea structures and pipelines is highly desirable.
A detail-oriented approach with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address design challenges proactively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with engineers and project stakeholders.
Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity is a plus, with the ambition to step into a CAD Team Lead role.
