About the CAD Draughtsman Job

• Produce detailed mechanical drawings, piping isometrics, equipment layouts, and P&IDs across multiple industries.
• Utilize CAD tools, including the Autodesk  platform i.e. Revit, to create accurate 2D and 3D models. (other CAD platforms will be considered)
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet industry standards and project deadlines.
• Ensure all designs comply with industry best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and software.
• Contribute to diverse projects in sectors such as oil and gas, energy, food and drink, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and more.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with a qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field, such as an ONC/HNC/Degree Level or equivalent, along with at least two/three years of experience in mechanical design and/or CAD work.

Proficiency in leading CAD platform such as Autodesk is essential. A strong understanding of engineering design principles and industry standards, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills, is also required. You’ll need to have a full UK driving license and be available for occasional office days.
