CAD Engineer

Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a CAD Engineer to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The CAD Engineer will be assisting the Technical Manager and working as part of a busy team. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of CAD and the ability to read drawings.

As the CAD Engineer you will be required too :

* Re-engineer existing designs to meet requirements

* Produce designs using Radan to meet product requirements

* Produce detailed manufacturing and customer drawings (assembly drawings, Bills of material)

* Develop prototypes where necessary

* Liaise with Sales & Production departments

* Work closely with the technical manager

* Update and archive documents

Requirements:

*�A good working knowledge of CAD and the ability to read drawings

* A good knowledge of the sheet metal process

* Experience of tooling and nesting (turret punch)

* Knowledge of SolidWorks

* HNC/Engineering disciple

* Full driving licence

* The desire to develop knowledge and progress
