CAD Technician

Elvet Recruitment are on the lookout for a client based in Newcastle. Following a period of growth they require a number of CAD Technicians to process data gathers by Surveyors

The business are a well-renowned Surveying contractor, working on a variety of projects incuding; Topographic, Environmental and Hydrographic Surveying.

Main Responsibilities:

• Translation of on-site survey information, including; topographical survey observations and geospatial monitoring observations into drawings.


• Produce 2D/3D as-built plans of the various surveys acquired by Land Surveyors.


• Working with Point Clouds within AutoCAD to efficiently create drawings


• Formulating drawings of structures, tanks and wastewater environments

Experience Required

• At least 2-3 years experience working as a CAD Technician within Construction


• Ability to present and process data


• A HNC/HND within a Construction Field, however a degree is preferred


• Full UK Driving License


• Previous use of AutoCAD


• Experience with GIS, N4CE and Revit is also very beneficial

Remuneration

On offer is a package up to £35,000 (dependant on experience)
