Role Overview:
The CAFM Manager is responsible for the management, configuration, and optimization of the organisation's CAFM system. This role ensures the system supports operational efficiency, data accuracy, and effective facilities management. The CAFM Manager will collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and internal teams to integrate technology into our facilities operations to achieve strategic business objectives.
Main Duties:
* System Management & Optimisation: Oversee the configuration, operation, and maintenance of the CAFM system to ensure it meets organizational and operational needs.
* Integration & Process Improvement: Work closely with operations teams to identify opportunities for enhancing workflows and processes through the CAFM system.
* Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for CAFM-related queries and troubleshooting, and liaise with software vendors and IT teams to resolve system issues or implement upgrades.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor KPIs to ensure facility management activities are on track and within budget. Conduct assurance activities to ensure adherence to processes/workflows and data accuracy.
* Data Management & Reporting: Manage and maintain accurate records of all facilities-related data (e.g., assets, maintenance schedules, space usage). Generate and analyse reports on space utilization, maintenance activities, and operational performance.
* User Support & Training: Provide user support and training to facility management teams, ensuring they effectively use the CAFM system. Ensure that all related processes are documented and that training is provided to operational staff and contractors.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement in facilities management workflows and optimize the use of the CAFM system.
What We Are Looking For:
* Proven knowledge and experience with CAFM software (e.g., Archibus, Planon, FM:Systems, Maximo), as well as IT and data management skills.
* Experience in the mobilisation of new contracts within a CAFM system.
* Relevant industry experience in the delivery of multi-disciplined FM contracts.
* Strong communication skills for training users and liaising with vendors and other departments.
* Analytical abilities to identify issues, provide solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
* Technical qualification in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Extensive understanding of Office 365 applications and their integration into facilities management workflows.
