Call Center Trainer - Newcastle - Contract to PermOur client have a long-established partnership with a Major UK High Street Bank, where they manage their personal lending business.We are looking for candidats to join their Training Team. The role involves supporting the Account in all aspects of Training, Personal Development, Learning Support, Learning Research and the creation and development of training material.What are we looking for in our Trainers?Deliver training to all areas of the business from New Hire entrants up to Management level.Maintain and update the training tracking system ensuring it is used to its full potential to the benefit of the business (currently using Moodle).Maintain and update PLSC specific training modules and material, ensuring that the content of the Induction/ New Hire Program and all other training modules is relevant and accurate in line with business process changes and client requirements.Design and deliver new and revised product and application specific training in relation to Business needs, Operational and Procedural changes and Annual Legislation Refreshers.Support areas of Training and Development by contributing ideas and suggestions for ongoing improvement in line with business goals.Create and distribute Training Communications to staff on changes and new practices using Moodle functionality.Update New Hire and existing staff training records in line with Quality Compliance.Evaluate training sessions and discuss areas for continuous self-improvement with the Management Team.Experience RequiredExperience in a training role for a minimum of 2 years.Worked in a Contact Centre or Large multi–Department Business.Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.Willingness to keep abreast of new training techniques.The ability to use data and feedback and turn into actions for continuous development of training.The ability to build solid stakeholder relationships across the business.Present information to the Senior Leadership team on a regular basis to inform on training progress, including Induction and ongoing training.Proficient in MS Office (esp. Powerpoint); e-learning software is a must.Phenomenal communication, presentation and public speaking skills.Organizational and time management abilities.Work EnvironmentThe role will be permanently office based.We try to have fun, with quizzes, competitions and challenges where we raise funds for our chosen charities/good causes. It’s more challenging at the moment, but we’re making use of tools such as Microsoft Teams and Workplace to stay connected and get involved!The working hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday – however you will work shifts within Mon-Fri 8am-6pm (8-4, 9-5 or 10-6). Business need may dictate that you be flexible in relation to start times/shifts dependent on the training being delivered.
