Triage Nurse – CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team (NHS, Agency Contract) – Shrewsbury Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a Triage Nurse to join an NHS CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team in Shrewsbury on a temporary agency contract. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse with expertise in ADHD, Autism, or Child Mental Health, looking to make a meaningful impact in children's neurodevelopmental care.

• \nWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• \nPay Rate: £27 Ltd per hour (Day shifts)
\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Conduct triage assessments to determine whether a diagnostic assessment is indicated.
\n
• Support or plan initial assessments for children with suspected ADHD and Autism.
\n
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with medical, educational, and voluntary services.
\n
• Provide child and family-centered care, ensuring appropriate referrals for further assessments or treatments.
\n
• Support ADHD referrals through the ADHD follow-up pathway, facilitating ongoing treatment plans.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical records and work in line with NHS protocols and best practices.
\n

Essential Requirements:

\n
• \nQualifications: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered General Nurse (RGN), or equivalent with valid NMC registration.
\n
• \nExperience: Must have experience in ADHD, Autism, or Child Mental Health within a CAMHS or similar setting.
\n
• \nSkills: Strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills, particularly in neurodevelopmental conditions.
\n
• \nCompliance: Up-to-date DBS check and right to work in the UK.
\n
