We are looking for an experienced and qualified technician to join our brilliant team at our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Gloucester. As a Technician, your role will be to keep our customers vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. The Role Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer Provide customers with detailed estimates for repairs and replacements and obtain signature approval prior to commencing work Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and repair estimate Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist Describe vehicles condition to customer and answer any follow-up questions File appropriate documentation on each repair The Successful Individual You are level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair and maintenance qualified Current and full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes Ability to identify worn & faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards Fantastic communication skills via email, telephone, and face to face Practical experience in a workshop environment Ability to use all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge Good administrative knowledge Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales A brilliant team player Positive attitude and flexible with workloads Strong organisation and time management skills Wheel alignment Tyre fitting Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs.
