Job Title: Health Care Assistant (Band 3)

Position Overview:

Carleton Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Health Care Assistant to enhance our patient care team. This vital role involves providing essential support to our nursing staff and delivering compassionate care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the delivery of high-quality patient care under the supervision of qualified healthcare professionals.
• Conduct routine tasks such as monitoring and recording patients vital signs and assisting with mobility.
• Support patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, and comfort measures.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a therapeutic atmosphere.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in NHS healthcare is mandatory.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Relevant certifications or training in health and social care.
