Universal Care Agency is a dynamic small business that makes a real difference to people's lives in the Hampshire area and we are looking to grow our team.

This Co-ordinator role organises our carers to ensure they provide effective, safe, individual care to our service users. You will be part of a friendly team who thrive on delivering the best care in the community.

What the job involves:

Responding to emails and telephone calls in an effective and timely manner, liaising with the Registered Manager to ensure all carers are following agreed care plans

Maintaining full and complete knowledge of the service users: their care needs; care plans; assessments; schedule of care; regular carers

Maintaining up to date care plans, risk assessments and service user details

Have full knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and Company policies and procedures and to highlight any issues arising to the Registered Manager

Attending meetings with the management team, service users, their families and/or representatives to ensure that the service provided meet the current service user’s needs

Co-ordinate with local community teams e.g. GPs, Hospitals, District Nurses, OTs

Provide care, in the absence of carers to the standards expected by the Company

To keep an exceptional and orderly office environment and to be the first port of call for all queries relating to scheduling of service user visits

Minute all staff meetings and keep accurate records of all carer’s mandatory training

Share the on-call duties to cover any absences as required

Work closely with the Registered Manager and support with ad hoc duties as required

Essential skills

Knowledge of Care plans and the CQC framework

Must have at least 1 year's work experience in the Care sector

Must have reliable, own car and able to use it for work purposes

Recent work experience in a Care Co-ordinator role
