Care Home Support Manager

Mellors Care are excited to be supporting a National, well-renowned care home operator in their search for a Regional Care Home Support Manager. This role will report directly to the Regional Manager and will involve travel to homes within the South Yorkshire�region as required.

The role will involve working onsite at a number of locations throughout South Yorkshire, providing support to Home Managers within Nursing and Residential Home settings. Responsiblities will include

• Supporting with Safeguarding referrals


• Supporting services to maximise viability


• Working towards budgets


• Agency reduction


• Covering managers annual leave and sickness by providing a presence in the service


• Being part of consultations and new home openings

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who aspires to work in a regional management capacity, with excellent support from an experienced manager, this role provides exposure to all aspects of management within a fast-growing group of successful and high performing care homes.

The ideal candidate will have management experience within a care home, or similar setting. A strong understanding of safeguarding and CQC compliance is a must.
