Location: London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 per annum + Van & Fuel Card

About the Role: We are currently looking for a Fire Door Carpenter to join our client’s team, covering contracts across London and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities:

• \nFire Door Installation: Install, maintain, and repair fire doors in commercial and residential properties, ensuring all work is carried out in line with fire safety regulations and standards.

• \nCompliance & Standards: Ensure all installations meet relevant fire safety standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
  \n
\n
• \nQuality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
  \n
\n
• \nClient Liaison: Liaise with clients on-site to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  \n
\n
• \nDocumentation: Complete all necessary paperwork for each project, including reports on work completed and any issues encountered.
  \n
\n
• \nTravel: Cover contracts in London and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and safe travel to sites.
  \n
\n

Skills & Experience:

• \nEssential:
  \n
  • \nLevel 2 Qualified Carpenter with experience in fire door installation.
    \n
  \n
  • \nRelevant Passive Fire Accreditation (e.g., FIRAS or equivalent).
    \n
  \n
  • Proven experience in fitting and maintaining fire doors.
    \n
  \n
  • A good understanding of fire safety regulations and best practices.
    \n
  \n
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    \n
  \n
  • Must hold a valid UK driver’s license (no more than 6 penalty points).
    \n
  \n
  \n

• \nDesirable:
  \n
  • Experience working on commercial and residential contracts.
    \n
  \n
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
    \n
  \n
  \n
