Case Maker

Mayday Personnel is working with a friendly established company who are looking for an Export Packer/Case Maker to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a bespoke business offering expert packaging solutions for various cargo. The Export Packer / Case Maker role will be temporary ongoing and can become permanent after 12 weeks if you get on well.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of using hand/power tools (pneumatic nail guns and wood cutting machinery experience would be an advantage)


• Full UK Driving Licence


• Carpentry or wood working experience is preferred


• Flexible working times required between 6am and 6pm during busy periods


• Friendly and reliable


• Good attention to detail and able to follow verbal and written instructions

Main duties:

• Export packing equipment of all sizes into bespoke manufactured timber and plywood cases


• Using hand and power tools such as pneumatic nail guns, wood cutting machinery and industrial saws


• Measuring and cutting wood to meet specifications


• Working on-site at customer premises as well as in the main workshop

Pay:

• £12.25 to £13.00 per hour

Hours:

• Monday - Friday 8:30-16:30 (flexibility required between 6am and 6pm)


• Half an hour paid lunch break
