Caseworker
Salary: £26,460 per annum + Benefits - Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews
Based at HMP Swinfen Hall - Multi-site travel required on occasion
What you will be doing:
Enrolling participants via means of liaison with prison OMU and other key stakeholders
Improving participants job-readiness and ability to successfully apply for work on release
Developing trust-based, positive relationships to provide an appropriate level of ongoing support for a caseload of participants
Signposting individuals to relevant activities, partner agencies & Peer Mentors
To be successful you will require:
Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs etc
Strong Communication & Persuasion Skills required
Presentation & Planning skills are Essential
