Cashier Accountant / Northamptonshire

Role
As a vital part of the finance team, the Cashier Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing all incoming payments, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and reconciling incoming payments from various sources.
• Allocating payments to the correct accounts and invoices.
• Investigating and resolving discrepancies in payments and receipts.
• Preparing daily and monthly cash flow reports.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
• Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Profile

• Previous experience in a cashier, accounts receivable, or similar role is essential.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy.
• Experience with Sage and/or Keyloop is highly desirable.

Salary & Benefits
The Cashier Accountant role offers a competitive salary of �25,000 - �30,000 per annum, along with excellent benefits and opportunities for career development.
