Based at Doncaster Racecourse, the Sales Executive will be at the home of the worlds oldest classic horse race, the St. Leger. Doncaster Racecourse is a unique multipurpose venue welcoming over 500,000 guests to over 35 fixtures each year and a full events calendar hosting events such as Weddings, Conferences, Boxing, Summer Crafting, Classic Car Show, Antiques Fayres and lots more.
If thats not enough, we also have on-site The Hilton Garden Inn boasting 154 bedrooms, 2 conference and exhibition suites, a banqueting site, Restaurant and Bar. This is a popular addition to many racegoers and the perfect facility for guests visiting Doncaster on both leisure and business. About the role:
The casual Sales Executive will work within our Regional Commercial Team within Arena Racing Company. Based at Doncaster Racecourse you will be part of the team that is driving the commercial success of the region and wider group.
This position will drive sales with focus on upsell, account management and driving repeat business. This role will also include pro-active sales to both existing clients and the identification and conversion of new business.
This position will support the Senior Sales Executive, contributing to the overall salesstrategy. Working closely with the regional delivery team to ensure efficient client management and the highest levels of customer service.

Maximising profit from current clients, upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.
Respond to all enquiries within the prescribed timescale with a professional and positive manner.
Manage the booking with effective use of the administrative systems.
Keep accurate sales pipeline reports in-line with group guidance to assist in site / regional / group sales tracking and operational planning.
Prepare accurate contracts with the appropriate pricing and timings, consistent with the commercial model for specific course / race day / event.
Apply sales incentives where appropriate in order to convert sales within the commercial parameters set by the Senior Sales Executive and Sales and Commercial Manager.
Work closely with on-site coordinator to facilitate show-rounds and customer visits.
What is casual work?

Once you have registered your interest, we will contact you in advance to offer you department based shifts at racedays or hospitality functions. There are usually a range of shifts available and opportunities for work are based on busy seasons and the annual racing calendar. Positions will be allocated on the day as part of the briefing.
