Description: As a home based Casualty Adjuster, you will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of Fast track and Multi-track liability claims Employers , Public & Products, TPPD and CAR on a cradle to grave and investigate and report only basis. You will have a minimum of 5 years loss adjusting experience and a proven track record for delivering and promoting a superior customer service and technical excellence. What will you be responsible for: To maintain and manage a case load of up to 80 files , demonstrating effective and proactive claims handling. Undertake thorough site investigations in a timely manner. You will be expected to handle claims from cradle to grave and investigate and report only. Liaising with Insurers, Policyholders, Witnesses and other experts where appropriate and manage their expectations. Determine the correct liability outcome, control indemnity spend and negotiate the resolution of claims within our Principals authority. Understand, interpret and apply Policy cover and its wording to a variety of specialist classes as appropriate. Demonstrate and be able to adhere to agreed SLA s. Prepare detailed and concise reports, which clearly explain your investigation, legal liability and quantum recommendations. Provide technical advice, support and guidance to all stakeholders, and propose bespoke solutions in a professional manner. Keeping abreast of case law and legal developments. Assist developing new business/building upon existing relationships with all stakeholders. Possess a can do attitude and collaborate effectively with colleagues and all stakeholders. Promote GHG s ethics and values. What we need from you: At least 2 A Levels and GCSE in Maths and English. Cert CII and / or Cert CILA Minimum of 5 years loss adjusting and claims handling, dealing with Casualty claims. Understanding and knowledge of Commercial Combined Liability Policies and CAR Policies. Exceptional customer service, organisational and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage changing priorities. Strong research, investigation and analytical skills. Professional and bearing in all aspects. A full/clean driving license is essential.
