Category Buyer - Electronic Parts

An opportunity for a Category Buyer for Electronic Parts to join a UK manufacturing business as they continue to grow.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term category strategies which will ensure the optimum supply base for the business including strong supplier relationships and best value.
Skills and Experience:

• Proven depth of experience in sourcing electronic components and strong supplier market knowledge
• Minimum 5 years procurement category management experience
• It is essential that you have experience of procurement within the manufacturing industry and have worked with engineering drawings
• Contract management experience
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong capability in Microsoft office software, specifically EXCEL
• Ideally Degree/CIPS qualified
