Catering Assistant

Our client is renowned for its commitment to excellence in delivering top-quality service to their members and guests. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join their team and contribute to their dynamic environment.

As a Catering Assistant, you will work within various sections of the Catering Department, assisting with events and ensuring the efficient delivery of food and drink services to the establishments members and guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with the community and external clients, providing excellent customer service in a stimulating environment.

Responsibilities of a Catering Assistant;

  • Delivering efficient, timely, and professional food and drink service
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food service quality
  • Communicating effectively with members, guests, and external clients
  • Working collaboratively with permanent and casual Catering staff to achieve team goals
  • Adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including Basic Food Hygiene and Health and Safety protocols
  • Flexibility to work effectively in a shift-based rota system

Requirements of a Catering Assistant;

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a flexible working schedule
  • Smart and well-presented appearance suitable for a front-of-house position
  • Certificate in Basic Food Hygiene and basic Health and Safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
