Catering Engineer
My client, a growing small business within the commercial catering industry, is looking for a talented Catering Engineer to join their team. This full-time position will cover the South Coast and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance, repair, fault finding, and occasional installation of catering, wash-ware, and refrigeration equipment (e.g., restaurant and bar appliances, cook line equipment, and ware washing).
- Field-based role covering the South Coast and surrounding areas.
- Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
- Be on call for weekend call outs (rota) currently 1 in 5.
- Overtime hours available.
Requirements:
- Commercial Catering Equipment industry experience.
- Proficient in a specific field (e.g., Gas, Electric, or Refrigeration). Gas qualifications COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5, and LPG preferable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ideally living in the Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, or Wiltshire area.
- Willingness to learn and ability to think outside the box.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Experience working on a variety of sites from small coffee shops to marine vessels and everything in between.
Package:
- Salary: £45,695.00 - £48,165.00 per year
