We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Catering Manager to join our talented kitchen team.
You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of catering services, including budget management, staff training, and development. This role encompasses the oversight of coffee shop and bar operations, ensuring their development and growth. You must also be skilled in preparing a diverse range of meals for both children and adults, meeting varied dietary expectations.
UKSA can offer an excellent work/life balance with permanent employment (not affected by seasonality), no split-shifts, no late nights (9pm finishes), Christmas close down and flexible working hours. We also support with relocation to the Isle of Wight by supplying onsite accommodation for the first 6 months or ferry costs.
Key Purpose:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the catering department, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Take a hands-on approach to training the team in preparing, cooking, and delivering high-quality meals, ensuring exceptional service for a diverse range of customers.
Inspire and motivate the team by leading by example, sharing culinary knowledge, and fostering an environment where team members can enhance their culinary skills through continuous training and development.
Ensure all staff are trained to the correct standards, including comprehensive training on allergen management and food safety protocols.
Effectively delegate tasks to ensure time and resources are utilized efficiently, optimising productivity.
Ensure all staff strictly adhere to food safety and health and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, regularly monitoring delegated cleaning tasks and providing constructive feedback to ensure standards are met.
Collaborate closely with all UKSA departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across the organisation.
Take charge of catering for corporate and UKSA events, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction .
