Our client; an established Conference & Event Venue in the City of London is looking for an creative, energetic Catering Manager with Conference and Hospitality experience dedicated to delivering the highest quality food and service to discerning business organisation.

The role:

As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the successful "on-the-day" delivery and operational excellence of the company's events and activities, from maintaining staff, visitors and building welfare to overlooking the Events & Hospitality operations.
The role is diverse and will include all aspects of venue management; key responsibilities focus on overseeing all operational duties, ensuring excellence in all areas - Hospitality & Events & Conferences catering for both corporate, commercial and private clients.
We are looking for individuals who are innovative and can bring in new ideas and who are enthusiastic about developing with the company as they grow.

Principal accountabilities:
Take responsibility for leading the operations with the daily management of the venue and other areas to deliver on the financials of the business and execute the smooth delivery of all operations within the venue and ensure the highest levels of customer service at all time.
Ensuring all client needs are met throughout the planning process, adapting to budgets without compromising event style or operational delivery and gain feedback from customers/users/clients.
Be an advocate and brand ambassador, developing strong positive relationships across all areas of the business and with clients and suppliers.
You'll lead, inspire your team, and encourage their development to drive standards whilst increasing both customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Ideal candidates:
Similar experience within Conference & Event or Contract Catering Venue.
Has a calm and tactful approach with the ability to work well under pressure and mountains of personality.
Ability to deliver a consistent and excellent level of service to guests requirements at all time.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
