What you'll be doing...

Taylor Shaw are looking to recruit a Catering Manager/Supervisor to manage our single intake primary school with gorwth potential.
As a Catering Manager/Supervisor you will proactively manage teams on site to deliver an efficient, high-quality service for Elior UK to our customer and clients, as well as be accountable for inducting, training, and supporting colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Responsible to cook 140-180 meals using a nutritionally balanced meal plan following Elior menus designed in conjunction with the school. Using predominately fresh ingredients where possible
Motivating and managing a team a small team of 3 colleagues who will assist in the preperation and delivery of our school meals
Controlling and managing a budget
Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
Responsible for preparing specialised Medical diets for children where appropriate (detailed specific menus are provided)
Responsible for product ordering, maintenance of stock levels and being confident of working to agreed budget levels

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 1:30pm / 8:00am - 2:00pm, term time only

Previous experience within catering is essential
Minimum of a Level 2 Food Safety certificate
A full DBS check will be required

Elior is committed to safeguarding children and colleagues. Candidates that are shortlisted for this role, will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including Children's Barred List, and two suitable references.
