We are seeking an experienced CCTV Engineer for our client based in the West Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing CCTV systems. You will be responsible for ensuring security systems are installed efficiently and meet client requirements.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems, IP cameras, and access control systems.

  • Perform fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs on security systems.

  • Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to determine the best installation approach.

  • Run and terminate cables, set up networks, and integrate CCTV systems with other security solutions.

  • Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation.

  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards and health & safety regulations.

  • Keep up to date with the latest security technology and developments.



Requirements:




  • At least 3 years of experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong knowledge of IP-based CCTV systems, networking, and remote access solutions.

  • Experience with brands like Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, or Avigilon is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • A valid driving licence (preferred).

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Electrical/Security Systems).
