Location : Hailsham, BN27 4EL
Salary : Competitive, DOE
Contract : Full time, Permanent
Hours : Monday - Friday, 37 hours - An element of flexibility as to when hours are worked

We are now recruiting for a Cell Leader to ensure that the cell achieves the day-to-day customer requirements in terms of Quality, Delivery and Cost and to continuously improve the performance of the team.
As our Cell Leader you will be specifically responsible for:
Team Leadership : Support and motivate your team, address performance issues, and act as the first point of contact for queries.
Operational Management : Oversee daily operations, maintain workflow, ensure cycle time adherence, and manage start-up/changeovers.
Continuous Improvement : Drive initiatives like Kaizen, 5S, and cross-training while maintaining the Training Matrix.
Documentation & Visual Management: Keep standard work, SQDIP boards, and production targets up to date, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
Collaboration : Work with the Production Manager and engineering teams to align resources and improve processes.
5S & Maintenance : Promote a clean, organized environment by overseeing cleaning and maintenance schedules.
Customer Focus : Proactively address issues to ensure customer requirements are met.
In order to be successful in this role it's essential that you have:
Experience of high-level mechanical assembly's.
Leadership and coaching experience.
High level mathematics, this must be demonstrated on your CV.

It would be great if you had:
Experience in low batch low tolerance workshop environment.
HNC / HND Mechanical Engineering.
