Berry Recruitment are looking for a Temporary Administrator to work within the Cemeteries Department of a local authority.

This role is to start ASAP for 4 weeks with a possible extension.

30 hours a week - Monday to Friday 9am to 3.30pm (half hour break).

Hourly pay rate �14.03.

The candidate will be working with the Cemeteries Officer providing general admin support, creating and maintaining burial records and cemeteries information.

Main Duties:

  • Taking telephone bookings from funeral directors ensuring all paperwork is processed and completed
  • Processing payments and maintaining financial records
  • Maintain and update databases and reports
  • Answering general service enquires
  • Sensitively manage bereaved families phone calls
  • Liaise with cemeteries operations

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong administration experience
  • Computer literate
  • Previous experience within a bereavement service or equivalent services environment is desirable
  • Attention to detail
  • Sensitively manage bereaved families phone calls
