Our client is a well-funded, multi-site business with a strong international footprint. They are now looking to recruit a CFO to work as part of a highly driven management team , providing critical strategic input whilst also ensuring the business has a best-in-class systems, controls and processes. This is a highly visible role and the incoming CFO will need to have the necessary credibility and gravitas to work effectively with a broad range of external investors and non-finance functions internally. Previous experience working in an early stage, high growth business is essential as this role requires somebody with a truly hands-on approach together with a strong understanding and appreciation for the more commercial contributions of a CFO in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business. Role Lead, direct and manage a small finance team Key member of the Management Team (functional leadership team) Lead financial planning by developing robust growth plans and forecasts Ensure timely financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Company secretarial duties Treasury and working capital management Responsible for day to day banking relationships and stakeholder management Supporting fundraising (equity and debt), investor requests and due diligence Experience Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Previous experience working within a multi-site/ multi-location business Strong International experience Demonstrable track record building robust teams whilst ensuring operational excellence Previous FD experience Characteristics Excellent leadership skills, personal integrity and an effective team player Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills Adaptable and able to be both hands-on whilst also operating as a strategic partner Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast moving, change driven environment Robust, resilient and high energy We know that diverse recruitment practices start with us.
