The VacancyWant to join a leading international, independent real estate consultancy with an all together different approach?We are looking for an experienced, efficient, and enthusiastic Building Surveyor to join us after another fantastic year across our real estate sectors. Due to exponential growth, we need a strong Building Surveyor to manage several current and potential large-scale projects.As a result of an influx of demand for their building surveying services, Hollis wants to continue expanding our surveying team and support the growth of our Scotland offices. We are keen to hear from anyone able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.Main responsibilities:Delivering a range of building surveying services including dilapidations, schedules of condition, building defects, technical due diligence and project managementTake ownership of service workload and gain project lead status in the near futureSupport with end to end business development opportunities and provide excellent service to clients to support their needsHelp develop and mentor junior surveyors in the team and develop and grow the service within HollisIn due course, support Directors in the delivery of client growth plans and line management of graduate/apprentice surveyorsExperience required:2+ years practical building surveying experienceMRICS or APC candidateExperienced with commercial real estate sectors such as retail, office and industrialEnthusiastic and motivated, keen to develop your own career and Hollis' service offeringMust be client facing and be able to establish / grow a client base and generate own revenue as your career progresses
