Are you a Chartered Surveyor experienced in Energy and Renewables or a Chartered Surveyor looking to get into this exciting and growing sector? If so, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Surveyor/s to join our highly successful team Renewables team, based in our Oxford office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a background in representing and advising landowners on renewable energy developments and projects. This role principally involves representing landowners, promoting land, evaluating offers and negotiating terms with the preferred developer.Oxford is a significant growth area for us and we're looking for candidates who will be integral to the development and success of our Oxford offering. You will work alongside a small team delivering some of the best Renewables projects in the region.Our UK wide Energy and Renewables department have over doubled in size over the past 18 months and we don't plan on stopping there! We consider ourselves a leader and innovative player in the industry and are committed to driving sustainable solutions for a greener future. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the success and growth of our team. We would consider full time or part time applicants.What you'll be doing:Landowner Representation: Act as a trusted advisor to landowners, promoting their land for renewable energy developments and ensuring their interests are well-represented throughout the project lifecycle.Negotiation: Assist in negotiations with developers, advising on heads of terms and reporting to clients with recommendations.Collaboration with other Professionals: Work closely with colleagues, solicitors, accountants, and other professional advisors to provide the best advice to clients.Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits nationwide to appraise sites, build relationships with clients and meet with developers.Communication: Be an active communicator, maintaining professional relationships with clients, providing regular updates on progress and maintaining momentum in negotiations.Why Bidwells?Become a fondly dubbed 'Bidwellian' you won't be a number in our business, you’ll become part of our familyBe part of our fun, supportive and collaborative teamWork with market leading LandownersWork on market leading projects that are essential to executing the net zero carbon agenda of the UKLearn from experienced professionals with a variety of experienceJoin us on regular social events, examples include curling and crystal maze, Christmas parties and volunteering daysAbout you:MRICS (Desirable but not essential)Experience in negotiating renewable energy documentation or commercial leasing negotiationsStrong IT skills, particularly Microsoft OfficeExperience with mapping software, preferably GISExcellent report writing skillsFriendly and professional approachAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to prioritise and deal with competing deadlinesStrong people skills with an ability to communicate via a range of mediumsWhy Bidwells?We’re a different kind of business.
