Chassis Design Engineer

We are looking for a Chassis Design Engineer to join our key client in Birmingham!
This role would suit someone with 2 to 6 years' experience designing chassis for the Automotive, Vehicle, Motorcycle or similar industry and would suit a junior or intermediate engineer.
Key Responsibilities:

• The Chassis Design Engineer will be designing bespoke project designs for customers from concept to completion for the chassis department
• Making modifications to existing designs
• Designing quality components and systems relating to bodywork, lighting and seating for manufacture/ production
• Liaising with internal departments and suppliers to ensure design quality and feasibility

Key Attributes:

• 2 to 6 years' + experience designing chassis components in the Automotive, Vehicle, Motorcycle or similar industry
• Creo/ Pro Engineer experience would be preferable but training will be provided - Other CAD packages such as Solidworks, CATIA, Inventor etc. will be considered
• Engineering Degree or similar qualification ideal
• Understanding of Engineering fundamentals essential
