Chef/Cook

A chef who is willing to work in a care home through our agency with the following qualifications and knowledge:

Health and Safety�

Food Hygiene�

Fluids and Nutrition�

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Food preperation and cooking

Experience of working with fresh seasonal food

Be aware of the legal requirements of Health and Safety legislation

Hospitality and Catering Desirable knowledge�

You will need to:

Ensure all food prep meets food hygeiene standards

Ensure safe methods are always used

Ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively�

Have an understanding of epathy with elderly�

Be able to take lead when necessary and be a team player�

Physically and mentally demanding environment
