Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
The duties will include supporting the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and ensuring high standards are always met.
To help with Menu Development
To prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. Food is served as buffet style self-service.
To follow recipes and presentation specifications
To operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
To maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to food health & safety standards
To assist with the cleaning and organisation of the kitchen and equipment
To record food temperatures
To ensure the cleanliness of the washing up area, including equipment
To ensure that all records are maintained to the standards required by Delamere Health as well as outside monitoring agencies such as Environmental Health
To notify the head chef or manager of any faulty or damaged equipment
About you:
The successful applicant will be ambitious, driven, enthusiastic, have passion, excellent attention to detail, a good team player with a willingness to contribute fully and flexibly as part of the overall team.
Expected hours:
24 40 per week (Full time or Part time position available)
