A beautiful, privately owned, boutique hotel based in Lymington are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to run a section as this lovely boutique hotel that cooks to Rosette Rated levels. The role will be running a section in the kitchen either starters/sauce or mains. This role has scope to work under a talented Exec Chef and to really progress your career in a great kitchen using great fresh, local produce.

Location: Lymington
Hours: 5/7 days, 45 hours all overtime paid, shifts will be 11am-9pm with an hour break.
Salary: £29k plus £3-4k in tips
Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Chef de Partie will Include:
To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards
To support manager in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within a budget
To be responsible for maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge
To maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation
Ensuring portion and quality control
To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations
What You Need To Be a Successful Chef:
Previous Experience as a Chef de Partie - preferably in hotel/gastro pub and to a rosette level
NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
