Hours - 35 Hours per week - No evenings (includes weekends)

Overview
Note: working weekends is essential for this position. There are no evening shifts.
We are seeking a dedicated and Chef dP to join our vibrant kitchen team at Bean & Hop. Working alongside our experienced Head Chefs, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality meals consistently and efficiently. You will be responsible for ingredient and meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. We provide a brunch menu, with a mix of British and north Mediterranean dishes, with a contemporary London brunch style. You must be fast and capable on a flat grill and also stove cooking. If you have a passion for fast paced cooking, and thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere, and are looking for eventual advancement, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, or in a similar culinary role, within a cafe or restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow in the kitchen.
