Location: Suffolk

Salary / Rate of pay: up to £27,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a small collection of family run hotels in Suffolk and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join their team at one of the properties, situated just 30 minutes from Ipswich.

Part of a small group of individual family run hotels, country club and spa, this hotel offers diners a range of exquisite British dishes including some traditional favourites as well as an afternoon tea service too.

What's involved?

As Chef de Partie, you will be passionate about delivering excellent food. You will work in a kitchen team of 18; preparing, cooking and presenting dishes for your section, ensuring consistently high standards of up to 100 covers per day.

The hotel offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner service between 2 on site restaurants; 1 offering guests a more formal setting whilst the other offers a more relaxed atmosphere, meaning you should be flexible to work a variety of shift patterns.

You will work with the Sous and Head Chefs to help create dishes whilst assisting with the training of more junior chefs working with you too.

You will monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins whilst ensuring yourself and your team have high standards of food hygiene and health and safety at all times.
