As a Chef De Partie, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and production of our culinary offerings. Working closely with our kitchen team, you will be responsible for executing menu items with precision and efficiency. Your attention to detail and dedication to quality will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.
Duties:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and measuring spices.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency.
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality dishes promptly.
Support the Head Chef in creating new recipes or menu items.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Line Cook/Chef De Partie or similar role preferred.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods.
Understanding of food safety practices.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
