Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club is a Jacobean-style manor house set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside in Ware Hertfordshire. Wood-panelled libraries and cozy fireplaces coexist with modern amenities, renovated event spaces and discerning service.

The key responsibilities of a Chef de Partie include:
Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance.
Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food.
Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays.
Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served.
Set-up and break down workstation.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
Monitor food quality while preparing food.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience:
Diploma or degree from accredited university in culinary arts or NVQ or related major
Minimum 3 years' experience
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
Innovative and creative in food production
Pro-active and reliable
Positive attitude
Good preparation and co-ordination skills
Able to work alone and within a team
Education or Certification
Good level of English essential in reading and writing
Food Hygiene certification desirable
First Aid certification desirable
