Chef Manager - Hemel Hempstead
Up to £37,500 per annum (DOE)
Monday to Friday role!
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef Manager to join our 14forty teamin Hemel Hempstead.
Services provided are breakfast, lunch and vending.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Leading the Chef team to provide excellent quality lunch offer
Understand and deliver all contractual terms
Analyse and effectively manage all in unit costs
Serve on the counter and operate the till during service times
Monitor and manage GP
Ensure cost and sales records are accurately inputted and maintained
All food wastage is recorded and minimised
Ensure that all HSE incidents are correctly reported and investigated with relevant reviews of work procedures.
Liaise with client to ensure an innovative and create offer
Ensure all food prepared, cooked, and presented to the required standards and portion specifications
Manage the processing of food orders, the receipt and storage of deliveries
Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchens and surrounding working areas
Ensure the correct use of all machinery and equipment
Perform other general tasks to support effective food service delivery as reasonably requested
About You
Strong culinary background essential
Previous management experience in a Chef Manager role including client management
Previous contract catering experience ideal
Strong financial awareness
