Chef Manager - £30,000 - York
We are seeking a new Chef Manager to join our clients Catering Team at a site in York. In this role, you will actively lead the catering team, overseeing recruitment, induction, training, and support to ensure a high-quality service. This position offers a great work-life balance with daytime hours, focusing on lunch service for residents at the location. This role is 5 over 7 days – 7:30 to 15:00.
Chef Manager requirements:
Overseeing weekly stocktakes.
Controlling and managing the budget.
Preparing and cooking lunch service for residents on-site.
Responsible for maintaining ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, managing reports, and liaising with clients to ensure operational excellence.
Previous Chef Manager experience within catering
