Winter Season Chef de Partie and Sous Chefs required for Lapland season in Finland. Flying out in November to work the full season till March 2025. This amazing opportunity offers the lifetime experience to see the Northern Lights and experience the remote living in a winter wonderland. You will cater for up to 1500 covers a day in peak season, cooking wholesome meals for busy tourists.
If you love travelling or working international seasons this is a great opportunity to see Finland, the Northern Lights, Snowmobile, Husky ride and take in the wonders of Northern Europe.
Duties include:
* Produce hot and cold food in accordance with menu requirement.
* Ensure that presentation principles, food safety and hygiene standards are always achieved.
* Ensure that breakfast; lunches and evening meals are produced to a high standard for all guests and the busy teams of colleagues.
* Ensuring strict serving times are met so that excursions
Requirements:
* Experience in volume, professional catering.
* Creativity and the ability to cook food from scratch using limited fresh and mainly frozen ingredients.
* Fluency in both spoken and written English.
* Food hygiene certification
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The details
Our client is a leading Lapland holiday experience company, they provide clients with a range of thrilling activities and quality accommodation, all set deep within the Arctic Circle. Winter activities range from snowmobiling, husky sledding and Northern Lights safaris, as well as memorable family meetings with Santa Claus in his homeland.
Whilst it is a stunning and once in a lifetime experience, it is remote, extremely cold and is a contract from November to March and will require you to work Christmas and New Year.
Our client is offering
* A monthly salary, accommodation, staff meals, WiFi, reimbursed flights to and from Lapland, airport transfers to and from resort.
* Opportunity to enjoy Lapland excursions such as, snowmobiling & husky sledding.
You must hold a current passport with at least 12 months valid date.
