Job Title: Chef - (Hospice Environment)
Location: York, YO24
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: �13.21/hour (Weekdays), �17.17/hour (Saturdays), �21.95/hour (Sundays)
Hours: Full-time, 8 hours/day, any 5 days per week (shifts working 5 days out of 7) You will have to work alternative weekend. Start time will vary.

Please note candodate MUST pass Criminal Record Check and have clear DBS certificatre

This is a temporary but ongoing contract with the view to go permanent for the right person

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for hospice residents, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Work full-time (7.5-8 hours per day), with shifts starting between 6 AM and 10 AM based on the rotation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared efficiently, adhering to dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a cook role.
• Strong culinary skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or hospice setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
• A genuine passion for cooking and delivering high-quality meals.
