Working as a Chef at The Tank Museum will allow you to enjoy a great work-life balance. The museum operates from 9 am - 5 pm and you will work on a rota system ensuring you have regular weekends off. Evening work only happens when we have an event. With multiple catering outlets across the museum site, the Chef will have input into our menus and daily specials, bringing flair and passion to our food, ensuring the 200,000 visitors who pass through our doors every year enjoy a variety of tasty dishes.

But it doesn't end there. The Tank Museum hosts a whole range of weekend and evening functions. You will help create and prepare exceptional menus for events such as high-end 3-course dinners for 250 covers, to small intimate weddings and corporate lunches. Our events are a significant income stream for the museum, and you will play a huge part in ensuring our continued success.

With sound knowledge of food hygiene regulations and with supervisory skills you will assist the Catering Operations Manager in providing a world-class catering experience at Dorset's largest indoor attraction.
