Chef

Surecall Recruitment are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team in Hammersmith, Paddington and Charing Cross within the NHS . The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
You will be expected to work 5 days a week, mainly Monday - Friday but occasional weekends may be required.

Rates of Pay;
Monday - Friday - £14.06 per hour
Saturday - £18.99 per hour
Sunday - £23.77
Duties:
- Prepare, cook and present food for patients and staff breakfast, lunch and dinner following the agreed recipes and standards set by the Trust
- To maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in line with current legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Plan the production of special diets in accordance with standard recipes as advised by ward based teams and Trust Dieticians on request
- To ensure correct materials and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order. Report faulty machinery/equipment immediately.
- Accurately record all food wastage and report to Head Chef or Catering Service Manager as applicable
Skills:
- Level 3 Food Hygiene and Safety
- Basic DBS on the update service
- 3 Years employment history
- Mandatory Trainings
- Health Certificate
- Knowledge for special dietary requirements
- Proven catering experience
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Willing to apply for a Health Certificate
