We are recruiting for an experienced chef to join our team and help deliver fresh, seasonal and exciting food to clients here at our venue, across a wide range of event types.

The Chef will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen and to ensure that all kitchen activities are planned for, resourced and executed efficiently, whilst considering legal compliance and standards of cleanliness. Including all the kitchen areas around the stadium. To liaise with the venue and events team and the F&B management to understand the needs of each client and booking.
To plan suitable menus with care and consideration given to audience, budget and available resources.
To prepare and deliver the catering for each event.
Responsible for coordination and execution of kitchen activities as dictated by the events calendar, with a focus on timekeeping, quality control and efficient resource allocation.
Responsible for Kitchen department stock control, including monthly stock takes, ordering, acceptance of goods, storage and stock rotation, including return of any sub-standard items.
To ensure that all Kitchen Department outlets around the venue are operationally ready and that the relevant signage, maintenance and stocking of each area is completed prior to every use.
Ensuring prompt timekeeping and reliable attendance for all assigned shifts, shifts pattern will be as the business demands which will include weekends and bank/public holidays as needed.
To keep up to date with changes and developments with relevant legislation surrounding the departments operations and activities.
Attend company meetings as requested.
To ensure that all relevant licensing laws and governance are adhered to across all departmental operations including but not limited to Licensing Laws, Health and Safety Regulations and Employment Law.
Demonstrate exemplary communication practices that set a standard for the team.
To uphold Stadium Security Procedures and check that Stadium security is maintained.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.
To keep up to date with changes and developments with relevant legislation surrounding the departments operations and activities.
Attend company meetings as requested.
To undertake any other duties deemed commensurate with the post and as directed by management and / or the Company.
