Chef/Breakfast Chef/Chef De Partie Belfast Salary: £12.00 - £13.00 depending on experience Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Belfast, who are expanding their team and are looking for a Chef. Job Purpose To maintain a consistent level of service within the Kitchen Department and demonstrate our philosophy of great style, great food and great value. Duties To assist in keeping a tight control over food % To be aware at all times of the food cost and spend as a % of sales To monitor stock movement (stock rotation), to ensure stock security To ensure as minimum wastage To understand daily departmental costs and how they influence profit and loss results To assist in monthly stock check To assist in the provision training and development for employees in kitchen procedures To ensure that the area of work is fully stocked and setting example for commis chefs under leadership Experience: Previous experience as a chef or line cook in a high-volume kitchen Strong background in a specific culinary area such as pastry, grill, sauté, or pantry Experience in working in a team-oriented environment and collaborating with other kitchen staff Excellent culinary skills and proficiency in a specific culinary station Ability to follow recipes / SOPs accurately and consistently produce high-quality dishes Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools What to do next Please contact Emma Blakely to discuss this or other similar opportunities in absolute confidence on or Skills: Chef chef de partie breakfast chef
