Chef

Mellors Care are pleased to be supporting a national care home organisation in their search for a Chef for one of their Manchester-based Care homes. This role offer the opportunity for a talented chef to take accountability for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, providing nutritious and high-quality meals for up to 45 covers.

The role will involve providing two hot meals per day for service users with a variety of requirements. Responsiblities will include

• Providing a varied and nutrional menu of high quality meals


• Adhering to diet preferences and working towards pureed diet requirements 


• Seasonal meals as part of home-wide celebrations such as 'christmas dinner'


• Working with the kitchen assistant to maintain a clean and organised kitchen

This is a great oportunity for an expereniced chef wanting to continue to work within catering, without having to work late nights and every weekend. This role offers sociable hours and early finishes and the support of a national, succesful organisation.
