Salary: £24,570-£30,000 DOE + Overtime!

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week, days to be decided upon appointment

OCHO is a stunning, modern café situated at the gateway of Glasgow’s tranquil Speirs Wharf estate.

We are known for our waterside views, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional food and drink. We are a popular spot for locals and visitors alike!

We are now recruiting for a Chef who is looking to step into a leadership role that offers creativity, quality ingredients, and an excellent work life balance.

We are an independent café and we are looking for someone to take the reins in our kitchen, creating fresh, seasonal dishes that keep our customers coming back for more!

In addition to this, as our Chef you will be responsible for:

• Leading the kitchen team, ensuring high-quality dishes and efficient service.


• Designing and developing menus that reflect Ocho’s fresh, seasonal approach.


• Managing stock, suppliers, and food costs effectively.


• Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards.


• Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless customer experience.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience as a Chef or Senior Chef in a similar fast paced café environment setting.


• A passion for fresh, locally, sustainably sourced food.


• Knowledge of food cost control and stock management.


• A calm, positive attitude and a love for creating a great atmosphere in the kitchen.
