Chefs and General Assistants Temp to Perm Contract

The Catering and Hospitality Division at Interaction Recruitment Northampton have been requested to source General Assistants, Kitchen Assistants and Chefs for a temporary to permanent contract based in Oakham, Leicestershire.

The requirements:

• Commis Chef on a 35hr contract
• Chef De Partie on a 41.5hr contract
• Sous Chef on a 45hr contract
• Senior Sous Chef on a 45hr contract
• General Assistant with clean driving licence on a 20hr OR 27hr OR 35hr contract

*Overtime available at the basic rate.

Typical contract:

• 5/7 days per week (to be discussed at interview)
• Rota could be (Apply online only) OR (Apply online only) OR (Apply online only) (to be discussed at interview)

*Pay c.£23000-£33000 negotiable depending on skills, qualifications and experience.

As part of the registration process with Interaction Recruitment, we will require the following:

• Your most up to date CV
• 2 references from previous employers (no agencies)
• A copy of your Enhanced DBS certificate for adults and children
• Preferably, you'll be on the DBS update service
• Ideally Level 2 or higher in H&S, Food Safety, Food Hygiene etc
• Clear copy of your passport showing all four corners, inside and cover OR a full copy of your birth certificate
• If you do not hold a British Passport, we will require a copy of your RTW documents and share code where applicable
• Due to site location, it is mandatory that you are a Driver with access to a reliable vehicle - we will require a copy of your licence

The contract will run c.12 weeks via the agency being paid weekly for any hours worked the previous week between Monday and Sunday.

During your time with Interaction Recruitment, you will accrue holiday pay. This will be banked until you request it.

Once you've completed the first 12 weeks via our agency, you will be enrolled on the company payroll as a full time employee and be entitled to the following benefits and perks:

Commis Chefs and General Assistants will be offered c.£13.08 per hour. Qualified Chefs with solid employment history can negotiate their basic salary.

• Schools / Colleges / Universities
• B&I Contract Catering
• Fresh produce
• High volume, high quality

There will be 3 services per day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. No late finishes unless there is an event on. Each service between 60 and 80 covers.
