Chemical Production Operator

Our well established chemical manufacturing client based near Halifax are looking to recruit a Production Operative/Chemical Processor to join their small team on a temporary to permanent basis, the role will be to mix chemicals to form their product to specification.

THE ROLE:

• Mixing chemicals, following batch sheets


• Assisting with machine clean downs


• Weighing chemicals, working with numbers


• Working in a team environment, reporting to the supervisor

THE CANDIDATE:

• Must have experience in production/machine operating


• Mixing experience in chemical or food manufacturing industries is preferred


• Experience of working with chemicals is highly advantageous


• Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role


• Must be confident with numbers and working to specifications

THE SALARY & BENEFITS

• �11.44 per hour initially (rises once trained)


• Overtime is paid at overtime rates


• 7:00 - 4:30/8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday


• Temporary to permanent
