About the role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Chemotherapy Team Lead to join our highly reputable Private Hospital in Reading. The hospital has State-of-the-art facilities, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Chemotherapy Team Lead to join our friendly and passionate Cancer Services team. We are passionate about the quality of care that we provide and put our patients at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a like-minded Chemotherapy Team Lead Specialist for our Cancer Services Team. Our state-of-the-art hospital offers fast access to leading consultants and provides person-centred treatments and aftercare.
Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as a Chemotherapy Clinical Nurse Specialist and will be responsible for:


  • Act as the clinical expert and professional resource to the multi-professional team, patients and carers
  • Act as nurse advisor to all patients undergoing Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) and follow up treatment for the related conditions
  • Administration of SACT
  • Provision of specialist support to provide excellent clinical standards in education and training across the hospital to facilitate safe and effective treatment of patients undergoing SACTs.

Who we're looking for


  • Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Accredited SACT administration course essential
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working at a senior level within cancer services
  • Extensive experience with the administration of SACT
  • Post registration course with cancer care desirable
  • Demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
